Good Cooler, Fast Delivery

Rented a 'cooler' for a beach day. It arrived quickly, within 3 days. Cooler was clean and kept ice well. Easy return. Will use again.

Loved the Backpacking Pack!

I rented a 'backpacking pack' and a 'sleeping bag' for my trip to Glacier National Park! It was so awesome not having to buy all new gear just for one trip. The pack was super comfy and fit everything I needed. The sleeping bag was warm too, even on chilly nights. Everything arrived right when they said it would, and returning it was a breeze with the pre-paid label. I'm definitely going to rent from them again next time I go on an adventure!

Great Gear, Easy Process

I rented a 'camping set for 2' and a 'camping stove' for a trip to Yosemite last month. The ordering process was really straightforward on their website; I just picked my dates and the gear I needed. Everything arrived three days before my rental start date, which was nice, gave me time to check it over. The quality of the gear was good, definitely not cheap stuff. The tent was a 3-season, clean and well-maintained. The stove worked perfectly. Returning it was simple too, just used the prepaid label. I called customer support once with a question about extending my rental, and they were helpful and quick to respond. Overall, it made our camping trip much easier since we didn't have to lug our own gear on the plane. I would use them again for sure.

Convenient but Shipping Costly

I ordered a backpacking set for 1 and a portable power station for a weekend hike. The gear itself was in good condition and worked as expected; the pack was comfortable and the power station kept my phone charged. The convenience of having it delivered right to my door was a big plus. My main gripe was the shipping cost, which felt a bit high, even for a round trip. It added a noticeable amount to the overall rental price. Everything else went smoothly though, from booking to the return process. It's a solid option if you don't own your own gear, but factor in that delivery fee.

Consistent Service, Good Quality

This was my third time using Arrive Outdoors, this time for a 'ski apparel' package and 'snowshoes' for a winter trip. I've always had good experiences with them. My first rental was a 'camping set for 2' back in the summer, and that went well. The second was just 'hiking boots' and 'trekking poles'. This latest order was just as reliable. The ski jacket and pants were top brands and clean, and the snowshoes worked perfectly on the trails. They consistently deliver on time, and the gear is always in good shape. It's why I keep coming back instead of buying new stuff for every different type of outdoor activity.

Does Arrive Outdoors do any kind of student discount? I'm trying to plan a backpacking trip with my friends but we're all on a budget.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they do! I remember seeing a student discount option when I was looking last year. Definitely worth checking their site for it.

They totally have one. I used it for my Yellowstone trip gear. Just scroll down to the bottom of their homepage or check their FAQ section, it should be listed there with details on how to apply for it.

Hey, thinking about renting some ski gear for a trip to Tahoe next month. How far in advance do I need to book? Don't want to miss out on sizes.

J Jennifer Moore 3 days ago
I booked my camping stuff like three weeks out for a summer trip and it was fine. For ski stuff, especially for Tahoe in peak season, I'd probably aim for at least a month if you can to be safe. Heard some popular items go fast.

Yeah, I always try to book my rentals at least a couple of weeks ahead, especially for holidays or popular spots. It gives them enough time to get it to you and you get a better selection. They recommend booking early for sure.
